As someone who has investigated numerous smear artists and other cyber-sleuths, I have to wonder if this wasn't a bit over-done.

Somehow, this site comes out of nowhere, and stirs the pot--which smells of an inside the Beltway job. The way "research" is presented also smacks of some opposition research memo, amateurish or not.

Could it be, perhaps, that the site is actually run by someone connected to another candidate for RNC chairman? How easy to pin this to Mike Duncan, but if you visit the site, it's apparent that no serious Duncan supporter would create such an attack site--it would poorly reflect on Duncan.

So there's my theory.

I called Paskett and he denies any involvement or knowledge of this. He also claims this isn't his address.
